MLS Electric is a residential and commercial electrical contractor serving the Charlotte and Raleigh-Durham Metro areas since 2018. We are looking for an Project/Operations manager to oversee commercial and residential installations. We work throughout the Southeast on a range of electrical projects consisting of EV charging infrastructure and commercial upfits. We are looking for Project/Operations Manager.
REQUIREMENTS: ALL Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the US and 18 years of Age.
Electrical Project/Operations Managers Typical Duties Include But Are Not Limited To:
· Direct and assist Field Electricians and Sub-contractors with electrical project tasks, information and execution
· Develop sub-contractor network (electricians, labor, concrete, private locate, etc..)
· Prepare project estimates
· Develop and maintain project schedules
· Log, Transmit & Distribute Submittals
· Assist with purchasing and ordering of job materials
· Maintain RFI Logs
· Coordinate the maintenance of As-Built Documents
· Ensure Quality Assurance and Quality Control
· Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience
· Electrical engineering or associates degree, or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related electrical field experience.
· Knowledge of means and methods related to electrical construction
· Read and understand engineering drawings, specifications and bid documents.
· Computer Skills to include Excel, Outlook, Word, and Scheduling Software.
· Good communication skills and people management skills.
· Must be proactive and possess time management and multi-tasking skills to complete multiple job tasks at a time.
· Ability to track job costs and measure productivity.
· Safety-minded in all aspects of work.
- At least (3) three years of Electrical experience with knowledge of the National Electric Code, state, and local codes and regulations
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and high-level workmanship
- Able to make good decisions and exercise independent judgment
- Good organizational and job-planning skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Safely use and maintain required tools
- Basic computer skills
- Fluent in the English language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
At least (5) five years of Electrical experience in residential, commercial or utility work including with strong knowledge of state and local codes and regulations

- NC/SC Residential Electrical Contractor license
