In support of Program Manager Advanced Amphibious Assault , we are seeking a Logistics Analyst with experience in supporting the New Equipment Training (NET) efforts for the Amphibious Assault Vehicle (AAV) and Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV).
Responsibilities:
- Under limited supervision, leads and directs integrated logistics support (ILS) activities designed to provide effective and efficient life cycle support of systems and equipment.
- Recommends ILS element planning and progress to ensure compliance with program requirements, specifications, and standards, analyzes models and optimized distribution networks using advanced logistics software for location of sites, allocation of resources, inventory placement, and size, selection of transportation mode, freight consolidation, closed loop tours, and continuous moves.
- Provides supervision to Junior Logistics Analyst.
The specific requirements and tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
The Contractor shall provide analytical support to the PM AAA, Training Director, and Government Property (GP) Manager by assisting in validating all PM AAA GP on Camp Pendleton. The Contractor shall assist the NET Responsible Officer (RO)/Responsible Individual (RI) by maintaining GP databases and conducting GP inventories. The Contractor shall monitor the custody and stewardship from receipt to formal relief of accountability, whereby the NET is no longer responsible for the property. The Contractor shall execute the following tasks to include, but not limited to:
- Oversee the NET Property Management Control System, maintain property management records and metrics, and draft transfer documents;
- Maintain property management records and metrics;
- Prepare transfer documents (MFR, KSD, FLIPL, DD1348, DD1149, etc.);
- Provide accurate accounting, tracking, oversight for moving, storing, and proper disposal of PM AAA GFP;
- Provide supply support to include packaging, handling, and arranging transportation of end items and support items (e.g., vehicles, special tools and equipment, and training support equipment); and
- Maintain and update the ACV GP and supply inventories on a quarterly basis.
The Contractor shall maintain the PM AAA, NET Ammunition tracking spreadsheet for all PM AAA training events conducted by FY and by training location. The Contractor shall add or delete training events, adjust ammunition request quantities as requested by a Government representative, and maintain an ammunition calculator to ensure proper quantity unit packs of ammunition are ordered for a training event. The Contractor shall perform the following tasks to include, but not limited to:
- Maintain PM AAA, NET Ammunition Request Worksheet forms;
- Perform reconciliation in Total Ammunition Management Information System to ensure expenditures and turn-ins are recorded and balanced against the PM AAA Ammunition Tracking Spreadsheet;
- Develop, maintain, and annually update the PM AAA Ammunition Declaration of Authorities (DOA) to ensure only authorized individuals can receive ammunition allocated for PM AAA training events;
- Process all ammunition requests that are received from PM AAA, NETT by the required submission date, and participate in PM Ammunition meetings and training events to maintain PM Ammunition processes knowledge; and,
- Assist in the development of the PM AAA ammunition process, track key dates, and ensure all ammunition projections are complete.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelors Degree Preferred
- Must have at a minimum, four years’ experience training service members in a military period of instruction/program.
- Experience with Property Management Control System for maintaining property management records and metrics.
- Must be able to prepare supply documents for accounting, receiving, moving, storing, and disposal of government property.
- Must be able to perform ammunition requests and reconciliation in Total Ammunition Management Information Systems, develop and update the Ammunition Declaration of Authorities (DOA) and processes, and support all training ammunition requests in support of ACV Training.
Specific/Preferred Requirements:
- Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance.
