What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Analyst position at Mlt Systems?
At MLT, we create solutions by empowering our people to fulfill their passion for service. We are seeking a Logistics Analyst to provide support to a government customer. The specific tasks and requirements may include, but are not limited to the following:
Under limited supervision, leads and directs integrated logistics support (ILS) activities designed to provide effective and efficient life cycle support of systems and equipment. Recommends ILS element planning and progress to ensure compliance with program requirements, specifications, and standards. Analyzes information in government Logistics Information Systems. Assists government principals in development and update of training material. Captures best practices and monitors DoD/service policy to incorporate into training and support material.
Specific/Preferred Requirements:
• Knowledge of Marine Corps acquisition processes required, specifically the Integrated Product Support Elements (IPSEs) and Supportability Analyses
• Develop, modify, and revise training products for the Integrated Product Support Elements (IPSE), including job task analysis, Terminal Learning Objectives (TLO), Enabling Objectives (ELO), Student Lesson Plans and the Student Media
• Develop and revise Job Aids relating to the IPSE, Product Support analysis, and Related Disciplines
• Prepare for, facilitate, participate in, and provide administrative support during meetings and training events
• Assist in development and implementation of logistics process flows, policy, procedures and provide recommendations for improvement
• Conduct research, develop analyses, and compile information (point papers, presentations, reports) on Government-specified Life Cycle Logistics and Product Support issues
• Make training, policy, and process recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency
• Schedule and facilitate meetings for the client to include providing minutes, action trackers with follow up.
• Capable of storing and managing files on SharePoint
• Preferred familiarity with the following systems: TOPIC, TFSMS, Catalyst, L-DART, GCSS-MC, DPAS, TLCM-OST, EDA, and FLIS
• Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint experience required), Project & Visio experience preferred
• Preferred familiarity with the DoD 5000 series, Marine Corps acquisition and sustainment policies and procedures.
• Position requires an active Secret security clearance.
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree preferred with six (6) years of related progressive professional work experience in Life-Cycle Logistics planning and management with a minimum of four (4) years of experience in at least two directly related technological areas, including experience in all phases of logistics acquisition and logistics planning. Ten (10) years of direct experience may be substituted for a degree.
• Desirable qualifications include DAWIA certifications/equivalent and DOD/MCSC program experience
