What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager position at Mlt Systems?
The Program Manager (PM) is responsible for the management, supervision, and quality control of the services performed under this contract. The PM is the single point of contact for the Government and has the authority to make operational decisions relative to the work requirements of the contract.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and direct a multifunction Team of acquisition professionals across multiple task orders.
- Responsible for task order cost, schedule, and performance
- Serve as the primary company interface with the customer.
- Develop, track, and manage Project Schedules.
- Oversee quality control of contract deliverables.
- Act as the hiring manager interfacing with HR Recruiters to fulfil staffing requirements.
- Lead or participate in contract performance reviews with the customer.
- Monitor financial performance of Task Orders to ensure targets are met.
- Ensure Teams compliance with annual training and security requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Federal State, local, and DoD laws and regulations and requirements.
- Conduct conflict resolution.
- Ensure accountability of all GFE/GFI.
- Travel 10-15% to effectively manage performance of the Task Orders.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- Ten (10) years of directly related program management experience; five (5) years must be in the direction and management of government funded programs within the industry
- PMP desired, Completion of DAU Program Management Practitioner (Core – Virtual Training) Required
- Must be eligible for a Secret clearance
- Exceptional Interpersonal skills
- Capability and demonstrated experience in successfully planning, directing, and coordinating the activities of administration and program control
- Must have successfully managed and supervised DoD Acquisition Professionals to complete tasks relating to planning, operating, budgeting, scheduling, coordinating, overseeing, recruiting, plans development and administration, problem solving and cost/budget analyses
- Demonstrated recent industry experience in CBRN, contract and subcontract management, client communication and staff recruiting/development.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience supporting the JPEO-CBRND is preferred.
- Demonstrating knowledge of the DoD 5000 acquisition process and how it relates to CBRND product development, production, and sustainment.
- Skill in satisfactorily dealing with customers
- Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment
- Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, PPT, Teams, etc.
