This position is for a 2nd Shift Feeder/Packer at our facility in Charlotte, NC.
Your Role
Packages product from gluer machine.
Places labels on boxes consecutively.
Moves pallets around with a manual pallet jack.
Assists operator with machine set up.
Maintains clean and safe area.
Checks the product for quality and count accuracy.
Sets table rollers and wheels.
Ensures total quality of the job while in operation.
Maintains the machine and area in accordance with the standard operation procedures.
Demonstrates competency in all paperwork.
Performs other job duties as assigned.
Your Profile
Minimum Qualifications
Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
3 to 6 months’ experience in packaging processes preferred.
Previous experience working manufacturing environment preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must be able to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions.
Must be able to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals and safety rules.
Must be able to pass a basic reading test.
Must pass color vision test.
Must pass color hue test.
Must be able to meet and/or pass the minimum requirement on a mechanical test or have demonstrated mechanical aptitude through prior work experience.
Must be able to keep up with fast pace production environment.
Must be able to identify quality issues.
Must be able to maintain good attendance.
Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
