Summary
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with expertise in networking to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of high-priority projects. This role involves managing multiple projects, budgets, vendors, and stakeholder relationships while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Oversee end-to-end networking projects, balancing scope, schedule, and resources to ensure successful outcomes.
- Budget Management: Develop, track, and report on project budgets, maintaining financial oversight and ensuring cost efficiency.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors to deliver services on time and within budget while resolving any vendor-related issues.
- Multiple Project Management: Prioritize and manage several projects simultaneously, effectively delegating tasks and allocating resources.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring consistent communication and alignment across all parties.
- Conflict Resolution: Identify and address project-related conflicts to maintain timelines and stakeholder relationships.
- Interface with IT: Collaborate with IT teams to incorporate technical requirements, security protocols, and networking infrastructure into project plans.
- Security and Operations Expertise: Leverage knowledge of security standards and networking best practices to meet operational and security requirements.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain thorough project documentation, including progress updates, risk assessments, and change logs, for stakeholder reporting.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of project management experience in networking or IT infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in budget and vendor management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and resolve conflicts effectively.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of networking infrastructure (e.g., LAN/WAN, cloud, VPNs, firewalls) and security best practices.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
