This is a Full-Time position for QA Supervisor at our facility in Clayton, NC
The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the auditing process, documentation, and finished samples to ensure the production of high-quality packaging materials that meet customer specifications. In the absence of a Quality Auditor, the QA Supervisor will perform all necessary duties. This role involves monitoring the production floor for quality issues, promptly addressing them by identifying and implementing solutions, such as dispositioning nonconforming products or escalating issues to the appropriate department or senior management.

What You’ll Do
- Manage the workload and personnel issues of Quality Auditors
- Review and approve timecards for Quality Auditors
- Process overrun and scrap paperwork as directed.
- Conduct inspections (incoming and final) as required.
- Review materials to ensure accuracy and completeness of Certificates of Compliance (CoC) and Certificates of Analysis (CoA) before shipping.
- Review batch records for completeness as needed.
- Monitor and address production issues by identifying and implementing solutions.
- Monitor production schedules for potential issues and highlight them.
- Assist the Quality Assurance Director in ensuring compliance with national and internal standards and legislation.
- Maintain the corporate Non-Conforming Data System
- Ensure proper adherence to tests and procedures during production.
- Provide support to the Quality Assurance Director as requested.
- Promote teamwork across all levels of the organization.
- Adhere to all regulations, policies, safety rules, and security procedures.
- Take a color-blindness test to verify color accuracy.
- Promote quality achievement and performance improvement.
- Collaborate with production and development teams to maintain product supply and introduce new products.
- Be willing to work flexible hours as needed.
- Ensure the security of confidential customer records and data.
- Undertake special projects as assigned, working independently or as part of a team.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience (preferred)
- Previous experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of quality control processes and procedures
- Knowledge of packaging materials and production processes
- Experience with auditing and documentation review
- Ability to effectively manage personnel and workload.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in using quality management systems and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
- Adherence to safety protocols and procedures
- Color accuracy verification through a color-blindness test may be required.
