Job Description

Job Role:

• Skilled in freight forwarding services: owning each job from quote to delivery to legally agreed upon destination.
• Successfully meet each customer's needs for delivery expectations. Arrange bookings of ocean and/or air bookings and ground transportation as needed based on customer request.
• Utilizing the Company's CargoWise System by accurately input of data and production of all necessary compliant documentation.
• Identify transactions and tasks that require special handling, recommend improved processes to management and implement resolutions within assigned scope of responsibility
• Ability to negotiate best rate when quoting and certify the company is charged correctly.
• Keep customers well informed regarding the status of all their pending jobs from start to finish.
• Perform timely billing to customers.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Must come from previous Freight Forwarding job.
• CargoWise experience is required. CargoWise cerfication is a plus.
• Minium 3 years experience.
• Computer skills, including MS Suite of Software......i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneDrive additionally PDF Editor.
• Excellent skills in English and Metric measurements.
• Individual must be a person who holds a high level of detail and the ability to pivot when issues arise.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  
  

For this position, the expected base pay is: $20.00 - $28.50 / Hourly. Actual base compensation will be determined based on overall skill and experience.
