MM Technics LP is German based, tier one supplier to the automotive OEM’s in South Carolina. The Prosperity plant joins a corporate family that has manufacturing operations in Germany and Poland. MM Technics is looking to hire a qualified candidate for our Entry Level Maintenance position.
Position Snapshot: Under minimal supervision, this full-time position will be responsible for the maintenance of machinery and the facility to include Preventative Maintenance as well as repairs.
Responsibilities:
· Read and understand blueprints or sketch in order to build new equipment or repair old equipment.
· Welding operation (resistance welding, spot welding, set up and operation)
· Preventative maintenance of machinery
- Assist with installation of new equipment
- Clean and maintain an orderly work area (5S)
- Minor machinery repairs
- General plant and building maintenance
- other duties as assigned by plant manager
Requirements:
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Minimum 2 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, preferred
- Welding: 2 years, preferred (Spot, Mig, Tig)
· Basic computer and troubleshooting skills
· Understanding of work orders systems
· Must be self-motivated and work with little or no supervision
· Ability to work in both hot and cold environments
· Ability to operate various shop tools including power and manually operated wrenches
· Able to comfortable lift up to 50 pounds
· Ability to comply with all safety and environmental rules
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position will require continuous standing, walking, sitting, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, working overhead and lifting of items up to 50 pounds. Frequent pushing/pulling of a moving cart and moving/lifting equipment.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
