What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Job Captain position at MMA Architecture?

- Minimum 10-15 years of JC experience
- Experience in Retail / Commercial / Mixed Use projects
- Must be proficient in REVIT and ACAD
- Knowledge of acrobat software and Blue Beam.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills required.
- Must have strong knowledge of wood construction and detailing as well as both concrete and steel detailing. Must be able to provide architectural detailing of all types of buildings.
- Strong knowledge of current codes, regulations and be able to decipher code related questions / issues.
- Responsible for Construction Document preparation and coordination with project managers and consultants.
- Coordinate city requirements for implementation in the CD documents. Responsible for addressing plan check comments and coordination of all disciplines construction document work.
- Must be able to submit plans to governing municipalities, address and communicate with plan check engineers, planners and expeditors.
- Must be able to address project related construction issues, RFI's, review of shop drawings and assist PM with site observation and punch walk tasks.
- Multitasking ability to assist in the preparation and coordination of construction documents on two or more projects at same time.
- Perform Field verifications and produce as-built documentation.
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
