Sports Medicine at Meadville Medical Center is seeking qualified candidates for Athletic Trainer positions. Athletic Trainers would be responsible for the healthcare of student athletes at the collegiate, high school, and/or junior high/middle school levels of sports participation. Meadville Medical Center has been providing Athletic Training and Sports Medicine services to the community since 1998 and, currently, services 9 high schools and associated junior high/middle schools. As of 2022, Meadville Medical Center Sports Medicine also provides the Athletic Training services for Allegheny College which is a liberal arts college located in Meadville, PA that competes athletically at the DIII level.

Compensation: Competitive salary and benefit package
Responsibilities:
- Provide Athletic Training services to athletes within the Meadville Medical Center Sports Medicine network
- Medical coverage at assigned practices, events, and tournaments
- Participate in effective communication, daily, with members of the Sports Medicine team and display the ability to adjust communication style as appropriate
- Work collaboratively with other staff members including our Medical Director, Orthopedic Associates of Meadville (OAM) surgeons/staff, and rehabilitative therapists to efficiently share workload in a team approach
- Ability to work effectively in a variety of work settings
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Be in good current standing with the BOC
- Licensed as a Certified Athletic Trainer through the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine
- AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification (may be obtained upon hire)
