- Location: Austin, Texas 78751 (Hybrid - Onsite & Telework)
- Start Date: 04/07/2025
- End Date: 08/31/2025
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (excluding state holidays)

This is a unique opportunity to lead a critical Cloud Cybersecurity project. You will play a pivotal role in managing security implementations, web information systems, and information system controls while ensuring compliance with Security Standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation of a complex Data Loss Prevention (DLP) system and vulnerability management applications
- Manage up to three staff augmentation contractors, including two Network Security Analysts and one Application/Software Developer
- Handle the project budget and timeline using an enterprise portfolio project management software
- Coordinate with Managed Services vendors to ensure the project is on time, under budget, and within scope
- Adhere to the Department of Information Resources (DIR) Project Management Framework for compliance
Candidate Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- 10 years of advanced security project management experience with complex DLP and web information systems
- 8 years managing large-scale cybersecurity projects and leading technical teams
- 8 years managing staff augmentation contractors
- 8 years handling project budgets and timelines within enterprise portfolio project management software
- 8 years working with DIR Project Management Framework for compliance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing and securing web information systems using SaaS vulnerability management and DLP applications
- Ability to manage limited resources and independently perform complex IT tasks
- 3 years of experience working with Security or Network Engineers
