This position involves close communication with taxing jurisdictions, handling escalated tax tracers, and ensuring that accounts are updated and maintained. The coordinator will also assist with tax filings, amendments, and support during company mergers, consolidations, or divestitures.Primary Duties and Responsibilities : -Complete and submit new account registration forms to taxing jurisdictions.-Handle escalated tax tracers and resolve issues by communicating with taxing authorities.-Follow up on newly applied-for state accounts and update Third Party vendors on account changes (, SUI rates).-Audit tax accounts for activity and collaborate with Payroll Tax Coordinator to close inactive accounts.-Coordinate with the Corporate Tax Department when opening new local and state tax accounts.-Communicate with internal partners and external parties regarding tax or payroll issues.-Assist with tax updates related to mergers, consolidations, and divestitures.-Assist with filing tax returns and amendments that cannot be processed by third-party vendors.-Perform related duties and projects as assigned.Experience and Educational Requirements : -A four-year bachelor's degree in business administration, accountancy, computer sciences, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of experience and education.-Minimum of two (2) years of directly related and progressively responsible experience in payroll tax coordination or a similar role.Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities : -Strong understanding of payroll tax and payroll processing software (preferably ADP Enterprise).-Effective oral and written communication skills.-Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.-Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations.-Strong attention to detail and ability to implement processes for effective audits.-Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Application Instructions : If you meet the qualifications and are interested in applying for the Payroll Tax Coordinator position, please submit your resume and any additional required documents.
