Job Title: Registered Nurse - Psych
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse for a 13 week contract in Helena, MT. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mental health care and be skilled in providing comprehensive nursing services to patients with psychiatric conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and triage of patients to determine their mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and treatment goals.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients with developmental disabilities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and progress in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in pediatrics, family planning, and travel nursing.
Requirements:
- Valid nursing license Montana RN License.
- Experience in Geriatric Psych Nursing.
- Experience with ID patients, Adult Psych, or Autism Spectrum patients.
- Strong clinical skills with knowledge of triage standards and mental health best practices.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals across the lifespan, including those with developmental disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing empathetic patient-centered care.
Benefits:
- $2,572.39 Weekly Gross Pay (36hr).
- $518 Meals & Incidentals Per Diem (Tax Free).
- $924 Lodging Per Diem (Tax Free).
