Workday Finance Reporting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Finance Reporting Specialist to join our team at mmd-services. This role is ideal for an individual with expertise in Workday Financials and a passion for optimizing reporting processes.

About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining financial reports and dashboards in Workday to support decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with Finance, Accounting, and Business Units to gather requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.

• Develop and maintain custom and standard financial reports and dashboards within Workday.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
• Leverage Workday tools such as Advanced, Composite Reports, Matrix Reports, and Prism to design and maintain insightful, complex, actionable reports.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all financial reporting outputs.
• Monitor and optimize report performance; Provide end-user support and training related to Workday reporting tools and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

• Gather and translate reporting requirements into functional and technical design documents.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing reports to enhance performance and usability.
• Manage the full Workday Finance report catalog, including strong controls around versioning, naming conventions, and security access.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
• ~3 years of experience with Workday Financials, specifically in reporting and analytics.
• ~ At least two years building and maintaining complex Workday Advance, Composite, and Matrix reports.
• Deep understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Workday reporting tools including Report Writer, Composite Reports, Dashboards, and Worksheets.
• Experience with Workday Prism, Discovery Boards, or Adaptive Insights is a plus.
