The Multifamily Construction Administrator is responsible for providing administrative and project support to ensure the smooth execution of multifamily construction projects. This role works closely with project managers, contractors, architects, and vendors to facilitate communication, track documentation, and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain and organize all construction-related documents, including contracts, permits, insurance certificates, and project schedules.
- Ensure all documents are accurate, complete, and filed in accordance with company and legal requirements.
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
2. Contract & Vendor Management:
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and processing construction contracts, change orders, and purchase orders.
- Track subcontractor agreements, lien waivers, and vendor invoices to ensure timely payments and compliance.
- Coordinate communication between vendors, subcontractors, and project managers.
3. Project Coordination & Communication:
- Support construction team with scheduling, meeting coordination, and reporting.
- Serve as a liaison between the construction team and property management, ownership, and other stakeholders.
- Assist in tracking project progress and addressing issues that arise.
4. Budgeting & Financial Tracking:
- Help monitor project budgets, track expenses, and process invoices for payment.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and budget variance analyses.
- Ensure cost documentation is accurate and aligns with project projections.
5. Administrative Support:
- Maintain construction records, including RFI logs, submittals, and change orders.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
- 1 years of experience in years of experience in construction administration, preferably in multifamily or commercial projects.
- 1 years of experience in Property Management preferred
