We have an immediate opening for a Human Resources (HR) Coordinator in our Overland Park, KS office. This entry-level role supports our Human Resources team by assisting with a variety of HR functions, including benefits administration, onboarding and offboarding, HR systems management, document organization, and general administrative support.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the onboarding process, including conducting HR orientation sessions and completing employment verifications (I-9 forms via E-Verify and HRIS)
- Manage HRIS records, including personnel updates, time off assignments and policies
- Reconcile and approve monthly benefit invoices; investigate and resolve discrepancies with providers
- Conduct annual ACA review and update benefit eligibility classifications
- Assist with FMLA processes and company leave programs
- Manage offboarding processes, including preparing termination paperwork, maintaining employee files, and updating systems
- Maintain policies, handbooks and company intranet
- Run reports in HRIS to support HR processes, compliance tracking, and data analysis
- Reconcile PTO balances quarterly
- Provide administrative support to HR leaders
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with MacBook, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Docs and HRIS systems (preferred)
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Self-starter with a strong ability to quickly learn new tasks and processes, demonstrating independence and adaptability
- 1 year of experience in Human Resources (preferred) or related fields such as customer service, administration, or office support
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now (preferred)
