Position Summary
This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator that has a strong desire to build on his or her career in the construction industry and carriers leadership capabilities. If you appreciate our purpose and embrace our core values, we would like you to apply.
An ideal candidate for Project Coordinator must have experience in Tekla, Excel, Outlook, Windows OS, and the ability to read construction drawings / documents. This person must have experience in the steel industry of construction and / or fabrication. Another route would be someone with an accomplished higher-education degree or certification in Project Management or Construction Management. One must have the ability to pick up various computer programs quickly as required for the position. They must have experience working within a team. Also, they must have the capacity to keep multiple projects for multiple Project Managers organized and up to date in a fast-paced environment. Either way, we are looking for someone with strong technical skills and experience or education in the steel industry.
Pay Range : $32.00 - $45.00 an hour depending on experience

Role and Responsibilities
Coordinate with and assist Project Managers
Follow up with Customers, Detailers, and Vendors
Collaborate with Project Engineers
Coordinate multiple projects
Creating and managing project folders
Creating and coordinating projects in Tekla
Keep track and update project schedules
Producing submittals for review or fabrication
Tracking production / installation progress
Creating and monitoring RFI’s
Maintaining customer information, drawings, material, cut lists, transmittals, etc.
Document control
Maintaining communication with Customer, Detailers, Production Team, and Field Crews
Requesting and tracking shipping activities
Order and track specialty material or hardware
Checking drawings
Marking up drawings in Bluebeam
Processing drawings and material in Tekla EPM
Qualifications and Experience
Experience and / or education in the steel industry
Tekla PowerFab / EPM
Leadership
Strong computer skills
Ability to read construction / fabrication drawings
Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word
Tekla experience
Smartsheet experience
Bluebeam experience
AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, or Solidworks experience (preferred)
Skills :
Detailed-oriented – Able to quickly spot potential issues
Organized – Enjoys keeping things in order and completing tasks
Computer literate – Able to pick up new computer programs quickly
Tech savvy – Has the mindset for looking for ways to automate or improve existing programs
Good communicator – Able to efficiently communicate information in a timely manner
