Founded in 2006, Lambert's is a staple of Texas hospitality. Nestled in the beautifully restored historic Schneider Brothers Building, Lamberts offers a unique blend of slow-smoked BBQ and modern Texas cuisine, paired with a curated selection of local beers, classic cocktails, and new world wines.
Lamberts is currently seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager to lead our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of guest experience, overseeing food and service standards, driving financial performance, and maintaining the property and staff. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, operational expertise, and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences.

What you’ll do:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring excellent service, team performance, and guest satisfaction
- Hire, train, and lead staff while fostering a positive, growth-oriented work environment
- Maintain high standards in food, service, and hospitality through hands-on supervision and mentoring
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability
- Support marketing efforts, programming, and guest engagement strategies to drive traffic and retention
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth front and back-of-house coordination
- Uphold health, safety, and regulatory compliance at all times
- Build strong community relationships and a loyal base of regular guests
Requirements
- 4 years of progressive restaurant or hospitality management experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong understanding of fine dining service standards, culinary trends, and beverage programs
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills
- Proven ability to meet financial goals and improve operational performance
- Proficiency with POS systems, restaurant management software, and tools like Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- TABC and Texas Food Manager certifications required
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lead with poise in a high-energy, guest-focused environment
Physical Requirements:
