Job Duration: 2.5 years
Job Schedule: 6/10's
Rate: $34-$38
Per diem: $125/day, all 7 days (must meet mileage requirements)
Job Description:
MMR is seeking Field Engineer candidates. The responsibilities would include, but not limited to, the following:
- Assist with field estimates, change orders, billing, purchasing, etc.
- Assist with building work packages
- Conduct quantity surveying and tracking
- Assist with timekeeping as needed
- Assist with document control
- Assist with preparing weekly progress reports
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor and upper management
- Bachelor’s degree, associate’s degree, completion of trade school with prior Field Engineer experience, or Journeyman Electrician classification with prior Field Engineer experience.
- At least 3-5 years of work experience in electrical construction
- Very proficient with Navisworks/CAD
- Highly adept to reading electrical drawing packages and specifications
- Experience with As-builts and Redlines
- Experience with Bluebeam and/or a CCMS program (Hexagon, Procore...etc.)
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, organize, problem solve, and exercise good judgement with minimal supervision
- Must have basic knowledge in estimating and controls
- Working knowledge of MS Office software
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under time pressure and/or deadline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible, varying hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Regular and reliable attendance at work
