MMT provides ongoing OEM training and supports ASE certifications. Successful candidates will perform preventative maintenance, diagnosis, service and repair of all vehicle and patient transport/securement systems. Successful applicants must be able to work safely, accurately diagnosis vehicle failures and perform repairs, assist in inventory control or other duties as necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Diagnoses, rebuilds, and repairs vehicles and equipment.

Performs inspections and preventive maintenance of vehicles and equipment.

Documents vehicle records in Fleet Management system.

Execute major and minor repairs of defective components and vehicle systems.

Sources and procures parts/supplies through MMT national accounts

Maintain work environment in an organized and safe condition
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
-
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibrations.

The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions.

Noise level in the work environment can be loud.
-
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license and good driving record
-
Self-confidence, emotional stability, good judgment, and tolerance for high stress
-
Possess good verbal communication skills .
-
Prior experience with repair and maintenance of ambulance or emergency vehicles is preferred.

Proficiency in both light diesel and gas vehicle repair.

Ability to utilize multiple computer systems, and accurately document all actions in MMT’s Fleet Management System

ASE or manufacturers certifications preferred but not required
