This full-time role is integral to our construction operations, where you will manage a variety of cannabis-related projects from inception to completion. You'll serve as the owner's representative, ensuring projects meet quality standards, timelines, and budgets while effectively communicating with all stakeholders. Additionally, this role will include long-term facilities management responsibilities, ensuring operational excellence through proactive maintenance and upkeep of our facilities once they are operational. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail oriented, tech savvy, and experienced in juggling multiple projects simultaneously.

- Coordinate and manage construction projects across cannabis retail, distribution, and cultivation facilities.
- Act as the primary liaison between Ownership, contractors, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
- Organize regular project meetings and site visits, utilizing digital project management tools.
- Oversee permitting, compliance, and regulatory requirements specific to cannabis operations.
- Plan and implement strategies for ongoing facilities maintenance once projects are operational.
- Coordinate with facilities management teams to ensure sustained operational efficiency and adherence to safety standards.
- Develop maintenance schedules and manage vendor relationships for routine upkeep.
- Provide clear, consistent, and timely updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Prepare comprehensive reports detailing project status, milestones, risks, and resolutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align construction and facilities strategies with business objectives.
- Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct quality control inspections and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Leverage technology to monitor site progress and address issues proactively.
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors to secure the best value and performance.
- Optimize resource allocation to maintain efficiency across multiple concurrent projects.
- Ability to maintain a consistent on-site presence with approximately 50% monthly travel throughout Minnesota.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing construction projects, preferably within retail, distribution, or cultivation sectors.
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven experience acting as an owner's representative with a strong understanding of construction contracts, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in long-term facilities management or a strong interest in developing maintenance strategies for operational facilities.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with construction management software and digital collaboration tools.

- Salary Range: $85,000 - $120,000 per year.
