We are currently recruiting for Direct Support Professionals to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the caregiving field and will provide a safe and therapeutic environment to vulnerable adults in our care. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The work may include medication reminders, housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, and other tasks. Specific duties vary by person served.
- Participate in job activities to help improve skills and abilities.
- Document the Direct Support Professional's daily activities.
- Communicate with the person's family/guardian or other support systems.
- Assist with issues related to individual behavior or care.
- Follow safety procedures.
- Redirection and cueing
- Community integration
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
