This position serves as a Program Team Leader, overseeing program management practices within an area and acting as lead worker for professional employees and contractors.
Responsibilities
- Develop and administer budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to allotments.
- Implement field assignments under the lead of area program foresters.
- Coordinate information and education in assigned programs to inform the public and colleagues of new developments in methods and procedures.
You will also be responsible for:
- Motivating people and obtaining program commitment from area personnel.
- Assigning and monitoring the work of staff; resolving problems with loggers, clients, the public, and other employees.
- Negotiating, resolving issues, reading situations, and settling disputes equitably by finding common ground and cooperation.
