Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Team Leader to oversee our production team and ensure efficient operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a commitment to quality, and the ability to motivate and guide team members in achieving production goals. This position is responsible for understanding, practicing and training others on basic manufacturing fundamentals. Improves Manufacturing Functions by assisting the departmental supervisor in running the daily production operations.
Duties
- Improves Manufacturing Functions by assisting the departmental supervisor in running the daily production operations.
- Troubleshooting all manufacturing procedures.
- Creating standard operating procedures.
- Identifying and reporting potential safety hazards.
- Lead and supervise a team of production workers to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintains Safety by wearing proper Proper Personal Equipment.
- Manages Time and Resources by using tools provided by the Company in order to maximize productivity and to accomplish tasks on time.
- Keeps Management Informed by participating in meetings and by reporting problems to Management verbally or in writing in order to avoid confusion and further problems.
- Identifies areas for improvement within the manufacturing process and implement solutions.
- Other duties will be assigned as needed.
Experience
- Must have experience in at least 5 years of manufacturing environment , with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control measures, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on production metrics.
- Proficiency in using manufacturing software or tools is a plus.
- A background in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is desirable but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
