What are the responsibilities and job description for the Partner Exp. & Special Projects Associate position at MN Vikings Football?
SUMMARY: This position supports the Senior Manager of Partner Experience Special Projects with a key focus on merchandise requests that are requested of the department. This position will focus on helping execute the requests for organizational merchandise orders, partner merchandise requests, suite member merchandise requests, partner gifting, and merch room fulfillment (Special Project requests in Wrike). This person understands the importance of servicing our organizational fulfillment needs, as well as assisting to service our partners premium members.
In addition to the duties described above, the Merchandise Associate will take part in the Vikings’ exclusive Leadership Development Program. This program will provide regular opportunities for professional development, exposure to organizational leadership and the ability to develop skills critical for the Associate’s future career growth. A fundamental part of the program will include clearly defined goals between the Associate and their Supervisor that will be tracked and measured for progress throughout the term of the program.
This is a temporary full-time position that will begin on June 2, 2025 and conclude on May 22, 2026, unless otherwise determined.
- Assist the annual team autograph signing sessions (date coordination, departmental orders, and internal communication) and the fulfillment of contractual autograph merchandise for Partnership Activation team
- Assist in monthly merchandise allocation document with Accounting department (autograph merchandise merger monthly reporting document)
- Assist in production of co-branded partner merchandise
- Assist in the production and ordering of promotional merchandise to support team events (i.e. tentpole events Draft Party, Golf Tournament, Training Camp, Classic, Winter White Out)
- Assist in the coordination and execution of all partner gifting (year end gifts, founding partner gifts, event gifts, birthday gifts, etc.)
- Assist in organizational orders buys for League partners (New Era, Fanatics, Nike, Wilson, Riddell).

Serve as liaison for all internal and external jersey framing orders (autograph numbers, signed picture fulfillment, custom jerseys, framed jerseys, etc.)
- Orders through Lees Pro Shop, Vikings Locker Room Store, Hang It
- Develop and research best practices across the league
- Assist in merchandise room ordering, inventory, and fulfillment
- Co-manage merchandise orders for all departments (Special Project requests in Wrike)
- Assist Senior Manager in the Development of the staff and partner merchandise website, Vikings Limited.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with merchandise vendors, ensuring effective communication, timely deliveries, and collaborative solutions to meet business needs.
- Oversee merchandise projects from inception to completion, coordinating with vendors, managing timelines, and ensuring alignment with business objectives that deliver high-quality results.
- Implementation of Wrike for all merchandise requests (portal for organization)
- Support additional special projects as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Sports Management, Marketing or a related field recommended.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Powerpoint applications. Some experience in Adobe InDesign is preferred.
Must have a positive attitude and be willing to take on a variety of tasks including both office work and physical labor
Must exhibit strong customer service and communication skills
Must be confident, self-motivated and able to inject their own ideas and creativity into projects.
