We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Litigation Attorney. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation, excellent advocacy skills, and the ability to manage cases from inception through resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Case Management : Handle a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters, including but not limited to commercial disputes, personal injury claims, contract disputes, and real estate litigation.
- Legal Research and Writing : Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court documents.
- Client Representation : Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Discovery : Oversee all aspects of the discovery process, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, conducting depositions, and managing document production.
- Strategic Planning : Develop case strategies in collaboration with clients and other attorneys to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Client Interaction : Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and explaining legal strategies and case developments.
- Negotiation : Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to resolve disputes efficiently when possible.
- Court Filings : Ensure timely and accurate filing of court documents, in compliance with procedural rules and deadlines.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with legal assistants, paralegals, and other attorneys to support case preparation and management.
