Responsibilities:
- Respond to U.S. office actions with the USPTO
- Conduct prior art and freedom-to-operate searches for patentability and freedom-to-operate analysis, litigation support, IPRs.
- Draft high-quality U.S. patent applications
- Be an integral member of the team and invest in attorneys with both mentorship and professional growth
Qualifications:
- Ideal candidates will have a Biology, Chemistry or Biochemistry related PhD
- Candidate will also have a Computer Science degree.
- Must be eligible for USPTO admissions
- Superior academic credentials required
- Outstanding writing ability is required
- 3 years of top law firm patent prosecution experience in a broad range of life sciences applications.
The anticipated base salary range is $210,000-250,000 per year. Actual salary will depend on several factors including but not limited to qualifications, job-related skills, and relevant experience.
