Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to providing outstanding guest services. This role requires a proactive approach to managing staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining the overall efficiency of hotel operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest experiences and ensure high levels of customer service.
  • Oversee human resources functions, including staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and employee relations.
  • Monitor financial performance and manage budgets to achieve operational goals.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with department heads to streamline operations and improve service delivery.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Prepare reports on hotel performance metrics and present findings to ownership or corporate management.
  • Ensure effective night audit procedures are followed for accurate financial reporting.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hotel management or a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Bilingual proficiency is preferred but not required; ability to communicate effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds is essential.
  • Familiarity with night audit processes is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
