Position Overview :
MNL, a leader in ecological restoration, has an opening for a Foreman to work for our Construction Department based out of our Otsego, MN location. The Foreman is responsible for overseeing and performing small to large scale ecological restoration projects throughout the Midwest. Requires strong communication skills to ensure safe and accurate project completion. Also requires the ability to travel overnights.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Oversee and conduct tasks involved with successfully installing small to large scale restoration projects, including but not limited to site work, seeding, planting, and erosion control installation.
- Completes a variety of restoration duties, utilizing various types of large equipment, 3pt implements, skid-loaders, ATV / UTVs, hand tools, ATV / UTVs, mowers, weed whips, chainsaws, powered augers, etc.
- Lead a team of operators, field staff, on projects all around the Midwest.
- Ability to maintain accurate work records and associated paperwork, including daily worklogs and safety logs.
- Communicates daily job tasks and expectations to field staff.
- Communicates project updates to company project managers, customers, and field operations manager.
- Adhere to and enforce MNL policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
