Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Program Manager with a strong background in Business Agile methodologies and deep expertise in ETRM (Energy Trading and Risk Management), specifically within the Oil & Crude industry. In this role, you will focus on project execution and delivery, working closely with business stakeholders to manage change activities, including impact assessments, training, and user adoption. You will be responsible for ensuring successful implementation of strategic initiatives while driving efficiency and effectiveness across projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Execute and deliver complex projects within the Oil & Crude trading domain, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to manage change activities such as impact assessments, training programs, and user adoption strategies.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives) to maintain project momentum and continuous improvement.
Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, including requirements gathering, planning, execution, and post-implementation support.
Provide hands-on leadership to cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration between business and technical stakeholders.
Drive Business Agile transformation initiatives, promoting Agile best practices and methodologies.
Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and issues, developing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Maintain project documentation, including status reports, project plans, and change management deliverables.
Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including trading desks, risk teams, and technology teams.
Ensure effective communication and alignment of project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
Required Experience:
8 years of experience in Program or Project Management with a focus on Business Agile methodologies.
Deep domain expertise in ETRM (Energy Trading and Risk Management), particularly within the Oil & Crude trading industry.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects in the energy trading sector.
Strong understanding of trading desk workflows, including position keeping, P&L reporting, and risk metrics.
Experience in Business Change Management, including impact assessments, stakeholder engagement, and training programs.
Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on driving business outcomes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with ETRM platforms and trading analytics tools.
Experience with risk management and compliance in the energy trading industry.
Knowledge of Agile transformation and best practices for scaling Agile in large organizations.
Certification in Agile (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe) is a plus.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.

Requirements

Skills | Must-Haves:

* 5 years of professional experience

Nice to Have Skills:

* Bachelor's Degree or above

* relevant certifications

* lives local to Houston, TX currently
