MNS Engineers, Inc. (MNS) is a fast growing, profitable, multi-service infrastructure consulting firm offering planning, construction management, civil engineering, and surveying services throughout California. With nine (9) offices throughout California, the Company has provided services to the transportation, water resources, government services, and federal markets for nearly 60 years. With direct supervision and training, the IT Technician Intern provides IT support for the company, including user configuration, system rollouts, data management and technical support to office and field staff.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist with technical support to internal and remote users for the installation, repair, configuration,
• troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of computers and mobile devices
• Work with team on IT help desk service tickets
• Assist with the set-up, configuration and shipment processes for new computers and mobile devices for users
• Configure mobile devices in Mobile Device Management (MDM) portal
• Update equipment inventory for computers, equipment and software
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Requirements

Minimum Education Required

• Certification or degree in IT-related field preferred.
  
  

Minimum Experience Required

• A minimum of one year related experience or combination of education and experience preferred.
  
  

Other Required Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in standard computer software applications (e.g., MS Office)
• Must be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills
• Ability to instruct and communicate with novice and expert computer users relative to hardware and software support issues
  
  

Salary Description

$21-$23/hr
