We are seeking a Commercial Door Technician to join our team. The successful candidates will have a strong background in garage doors with the abilities to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues.
Responsibilities:
- Perform service, maintenance, and repairs on various models of commercial garage doors and associated equipment, including but not limited to, overhead doors, roll-up doors, sectional doors, dock levelers, and loading dock equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues and develop effective solutions to ensure functionality and safety
- Ensure work is performed to our high standards
- Utilize a wide range of hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and software to diagnose, repair, and test garage door systems
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations
- Experience in Commercial Garage Door Service preferred
- Working knowledge of various types of commercial garage doors, including their components, operating systems, and safety mechanisms or willingness to learn
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently, efficiently and manage time and priorities
- Knowledgeable about safety regulations and commitment to adhere to those regulations to maintain a safe work environment
