Job Responsibilities
- Correctly diagnose and fix garage door warranty issues
- Update systems with notes and pictures of completed warranty work
- Work closely with General Manager, Service Manager and Project Manager to ensure all warranty issues are resolved and to ensure jobs are scheduled appropriately and without delay
- Perform initial visual inspections of various job sites and determine job readiness as well as document estimated dates of readiness
- Conduct regular and scheduled follow-ups to sites deemed not ready upon the initial inspection
- Review measurements, door size, headroom, side room, blocking, and live wire
- Establish customer rapport, explaining the services provided during the warranty call.
- Ask proper questions to troubleshoot system malfunctions.
- Educate and assist customers in the general functionality of their garage door.
- Explain replacement opportunities and create referral opportunities to our service and or retail sales team.
- Work alongside customer service and dispatch to ensure the success of the team.
- Maintain a clean, organized job site and correctly inventoried truck.
- Participate actively in all training exercises and morning meetings.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if necessary
