Position Overview: As an Inside Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with prompt, friendly and professional service. You will engage with customers to ensure they understand their options and offer reliable solutions.
This position requires an individual who can work well within a team; build positive relationships with your teams and customers and have a thorough understanding of our products. You must have the ability to provide quotes, generate sales and drive revenue by establishing and maintaining relationships with customers, promoting garage door products and services, and achieving sales targets. You will be representing the company in a professional and knowledgeable manner while actively seeking out new business opportunities and providing exceptional customer service.
Sales and Customer Service
- Answer incoming telephone calls with the ability to handle multiple customers and customer requests while maintaining a friendly and professional manner.
- Must have an ability to assist customers in making product selections by asking questions and actively listening to identify customer needs. Assists with system or product troubleshooting and answering technical questions. Identifies alternate or substitute products to meet customer needs.
- Prepares and issues sales quotes following company guidelines with the ability to explain the urgency to select the right product for the security of your door. Follow up on quotes to secure sales.
- Educate customers on the availability and variety of products.
- Increase customer satisfaction and profitability by proactively recommending additional items a customer might need and promotions that might interest them.
- Promptly follow up on all customer requests for information, quotes, alternative parts and delivery dates. Proactively communicates with customers about any expected delays or issues with their order.
- Develops good working relationships and rapport with customers and teams.
- Resolves customer complaints and disputes in a timely, professional manner that balances customer requests with business needs.
- Complete all transactions and necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and sales forecasts.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, product developments, and competitor activities.
- Continuously expand knowledge of the company's products and services to effectively communicate their value to customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations and educate customers on the features, functionality, and maintenance of our products.
- Proven experience with inside sales, preferably in the home services, construction, home improvement, or related industries.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and effectively convey product information.
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Solid organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using software and other sales tools.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 base per year, with 2% commissions
A valid and clear Driver's License is required
