Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly.
- Ensure that all food is stored properly and that kitchen areas are sanitized regularly.
- Support the dietary department by adhering to food safety regulations and dietary restrictions.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during meal service.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
Skills
- Experience in the culinary field or food service industry is preferred.
