The Ocean Export Operation is responsible for coordinating and executing the shipment of goods via ocean freight. This includes managing the entire export process, from booking cargo space to preparing and filing necessary documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and execute the shipment of goods via ocean freight
Book cargo space with ocean carriers
Prepare and file necessary documentation, including bills of lading, export declarations, and commercial invoices
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws
Communicate with customers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely delivery of goods
Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery
Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the export process
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in ocean export operations
Strong knowledge of ocean freight regulations and documentation requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
