Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage architectural and engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Develop project plans, including scope, budget, and timeline
- Coordinate with internal design teams, contractors, and public agencies to ensure project milestones are met
- Monitor project progress and approvals from the Department of Building and Safety and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
- Review, interpret, and mitigate conflicts between all plans including, Architectural, Structural, and MEP plans
- Utilize construction management software such as BIM, Buildertrend, and Primavera to track project activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Participate in project design meetings and implement value engineering and design development improvements if necessary.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in project management and Risk Management
- Knowledge of Architectural and structural design standards
- Strong understanding of construction estimating and cost control principles
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting Construction Documents and Codes
- Familiarity with Revit and BIM software
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of contract management processes and procedures
