Your role at MOBE

As a Print Production Manager, you’ll support our end-to-end printing process and coordinate with print vendors to produce a variety of mailings and marketing collateral for B2B, B2C and B2E. With your strong attention to detail and quality, you’ll ensure things move along seamlessly and flawlessly. You’ll help set and maintain print production procedures to efficiently deliver materials that are on time and on budget.


This role reports directly to the Senior Print Production Manager, Creative Services.


This is a hybrid role with a minimum of three days a week in the Minneapolis, MN office.

Responsibilities


General Print Production Management:

  • Oversee the print production process on assigned projects, from concept to delivery, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal Marketing team members to understand project requirements and objectives. Participate in pre-production discussions to gather requirements and evaluate scope.
  • Utilize industry knowledge to recommend optimal printing methods and materials.
  • Review soft and hard proofs, ensuring they match the supplied and approved creative files.
  • Facilitate careful exchange and proofing of personal data used in printed campaign materials.


Vendor Coordination:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with print vendors to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Manage and facilitate pricing and delivery schedules with print vendors. Review, pre-approve, and help facilitate the processing of invoices through Accounting.
  • Provide detailed printing instructions with every assignment.
  • Monitor vendor inventory counts for accurate representation of in stock. Support inventory planning.
  • Monitor vendor performance and address any issues promptly and respectfully, with support from the Senior Print Production Manager, when needed.
  • Facilitate creative team requests, offering inspiration and ideas that meet (or beat) budgets.


Print Production Team Support:

  • Collaborate with other Print Production team members on new ideas presented.
  • Provide back-up for other team members as needed (vacation backfill, etc.).
  • Share industry trends and updates with the rest of the team.


Quality Control:

  • Adhere to quality control measures to guarantee the accuracy and precision of printed materials. (This includes being responsible for final printed proof approvals.)
  • Ensure sensitive, confidential information (PII) is handled safely and appropriately.


Project Management:

  • Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring projects are completed on schedule.
  • Prioritize and balance a large capacity of work, avoiding obstacles or delays through clear communication with teammates and project managers.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to provide updates on project status.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any production-related issues with support from Senior Print Production Manager, when needed.
  • Manage workload using a project management tool and via email/Teams discussions.


Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 6 years of print experience in a marketing and/or creative environment.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Acrobat Pro.
  • Experience with a project management tool (ex: Wrike).
  • Ability to adhere to color and production standards according to brand guidelines.
  • Excellent communicator (both verbally and written).
  • Pro-active team player and self-starter. Ability to support a positive work environment.
  • Driven by curiosity. Creative thinker with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Adaptable. Able to work in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Well-organized with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent project management skills, with proven experience managing multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work in a hybrid role (minimum three days a week in Minneapolis, MN office).

Salary : $85,000 - $100,000
