Nurse Manager (FHC25-10) Semmes Health Center

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Completion of an accredited nursing program leading to certification as a Registered Nurse (A.D.N, B.S.N. or higher). A minimum of one year's professional nursing experience preferably in a public health program or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse issued by the State of Alabama; must be willing to furnish own automobile and possess a valid Alabama Driver's License. Experience running a TB Program and Clinic is required.

SUMMARY: In the role of Nurse Manager at Semmes Health Center, you will oversee nursing staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. Reporting to the clinic director, you will utilize your management skills, including supervising experience and knowledge of EHR systems, to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the health center, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
• Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support in clinical practices and patient management.
• Manage patient records using EHR systems and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Conduct staff training and performance evaluations to enhance team effectiveness.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for patient care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.52 - $34.32 per hour
