This is trainee work in corrections assisting jail personnel in the daily operations of the Mobile County Metro Jail in providing for the safety, security and welfare of staff and inmates.

Minimum Qualification Requirements
Graduation from a standard senior high school, or the successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test, and preferably some experience dealing with the public under varying circumstances; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.
Special Requirements
Must possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence. Must be at least 18 years of age and must not have reached age 21.
