Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic Mobile Dental team in a fast-paced dental setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in various dental specialties, including pediatrics and prosthodontics, and will be committed to providing exceptional patient care while adhering to the highest standards of hygiene and safety. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations within the clinic and enhancing the overall patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
- Ensure that all dental instruments are sterilized and maintained according to aseptic techniques.
- Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Maintain an organized inventory of dental supplies and equipment.
- Support front office staff with administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry and prosthodontics is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance is essential.
- Proficiency in dental software such as Eaglesoft or Epic is advantageous.
- Experience with medical imaging techniques is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Certification or diploma from an accredited Dental Assistant program is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
