Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our Mobile Dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will be proficient in various dental procedures. This role involves diagnosing and treating dental issues, educating patients on oral health, and ensuring a comfortable experience for all patients.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to evaluate oral health.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to dental extractions, fillings and dentures.
- Utilize knowledge of prosthodontics
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient office operations.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Experience
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid dental license to practice in the state.
- Experience working in a dental office setting is preferred.
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems such as Epic is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and patient care best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
