Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our Mobile Dental Practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment journey. You will be providing care for residents In a Long Term Care Facility, utilizing your expertise in various dental procedures while adhering to the highest standards of infection control and patient safety.
Duties
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients' oral health and diagnose dental conditions.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to fillings, extractions, and preventive care.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care to promote long-term health.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license and certification in CPR/BLS.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical documentation practices.
- Experience with dental fabrication techniques is a plus.
- Proficient understanding of infection control standards and aseptic techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
