Job Summary
- Driver will be responsible for wet hosing fleet vehicles Monday - Friday nights on a dedicated route throughout northeast and southeast Atlanta.
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tanker Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting liquid cargo in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires a strong commitment to safety regulations. The Tanker Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
Duties
- Driver will be responsible for wet hosing fleet vehicles Monday - Friday nights.
- Operate tanker trucks to transport liquid cargo to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation and hazardous materials.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Load and unload cargo as needed, utilizing forklifts or other equipment when necessary.
- Ensure proper handling of freight to prevent spills or damage during transport.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver with a focus on tanker or commercial driving.
- Familiar with driving short truck and operation LCR meters and PTO driven pumps.
- Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety regulations.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with dispatchers, customers, and team members.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
