Job Overview
Due to the demand for DOT/FMCSA physicals, we are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable National Registry of Certified Medical Examiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in DOT exams and be a team player. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism to perform physical qualification examinations for interstate CMV drivers. The Examiner will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of patients through comprehensive examinations and diagnostic evaluations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed physical examinations to assess patients' health status.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations, work effectively, and document findings accurately.
- Maintain up-to-date medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to facilitate effective communication with healthcare teams.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the examination process.
- Provide clear explanations of findings to patients and answer any questions.
Experience
- Previous experience conducting physical examinations or working in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and diagnostic evaluation techniques is required.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals.
Qualification
- If you are a Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Chiropractic / Chiropractor, or Health Examiner for Commercial Motor Vehicle Drivers may apply
- Must be willing to become Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Certified or already hold certification
