Social services are provided to people of all ages, from intra-uterine through the elderly.

Experience/Education/Qualification
Experience:
- One (1) year experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is required
- MSW (Master of Social Work) from an accredited school of Social Work is required
- State of Alaska license at Master’s level (LMSW) required or eligibility.
- A valid Alaska State driver’s license is required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Basic knowledge of computer use.
- Prefer experience working in cross-cultural settings with bilingual language skills in English & Yup'ik.
- Ability to read, comprehend & write at the college level & effectively present information in one-on-one & group situations to patients/clients, agencies, communities, & other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply/divide in all units of measure, with whole numbers, common fractions, & decimals; compute rate, ratio, and percent; draw/interpret bar graphs.
- Should be able to perform supervisory tasks when the supervisor is away, and work independently and in collaboration with another social worker.
- ALL TRAVELERS ARE REQUIRED TO SHOW PROOF OF COMPLETED COVID VACCINATIONS.
