Role-specific Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic radiographic exams.
- Utilizes PACS and EMR systems
- Performs interventional procedures per protocol and established procedures.
- Maintains appropriate IV and Contrast Competency
- Follows established protocols and procedures for proper patient position, exposure control, and radiation protection.
- Performs office duties as needed.
- Communicates clearly and effectively with all involved in the patient care process.
- Cleans and inspects departmental equipment
- Cleans and stocks Imaging rooms.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of technical experience is required.
- Must have CATH lab Experience
- EP experience preferred; coronary and peripheral case experience such as CTO, carotid stenting, AAA, and complex peripheral intervention. Structural experience preferred.
- Must possess a minimum of an Associate degree
- ARRT Certification in Radiology is required
- IEMA registration is required
- BLS/BCLS is required
