MDS Coordinator RN (Permanent Full-Time)
Location: Bethel, AK
Salary: $106,121.60 - $137,958.08
Position Summary:
The MDS Coordinator RN is responsible for planning and overseeing daily nursing activities and care in accordance with physician directives, nursing standards, and regulatory requirements. This role ensures a supportive physical and psychosocial environment for residents in a long-term care facility while maintaining compliance with MDS assessment guidelines.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in geriatric nursing, including medication administration and knowledge of pharmacy systems.
- Previous MDS experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Active RN license in good standing in Alaska.
- CPR certification required.
- MDS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in office equipment (computer, telephone, fax, copier).
- Experience with MDS data tools preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $103,000.00 - $137,958.00 per year
