Assignment Start Date: 12/30/2024 or 1/13/2025

• 13 Week Duration | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 36hrs GTD
• 4x12 | 48hrs schedule available upon request

Travel Offer:

• Estimated Weekly Total: $2,380
• Stipend included: $1,246
• Hourly Pay: $31.50, O.T: $34.65
• Travel reimbursement: $500

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Primary Location: Deaconess Midtown
• Shift Requirements: 12hr Nights 6:30p-7a
• Float Requirements: First to float within skillset. Deaconess Newburgh (IN) campus (8 miles apart) & potential to float to Deaconess Henderson (KY – 11 miles). 2 HR notice given for cross campus float. Mid-shift float within same campus. Cross campus mid-shift float is unlikely but possible.
• On Call/Call Back Requirements: N/A
• Weekend: Three weekends out of every six week schedule
• Holidays: every other holiday
• Unit Information: 22 beds. Ratio: Days 1:2-3; NOCs 1:2-3; Third patient is often a transfer. Charge nurse typically does not take patients.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• 3 years as RN, 1 full year ICU/Trauma ICU,
• 1 travel assignment
• Trauma level II experience.
• Charting Experience Required: Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)
• Skillset: Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation (travelers are required to pass a tele test), ETT/vent management (RT available), Initiate/titrate (sedatives, paralytics, cardiac drips, vasoactive, insulin, etc.), NIHSS/dysphagia screen/strong neuro assessment skills, ICP monitoring, sepsis protocols/care, post ROSC therapeutic hypothermia protocol.

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• NIHSS
